Billings Federal Credit Union selected Jordan Thronson, and Sheena Yellowtail as their 2019 Scholarship winners.

Thronson, a 2019 Skyview High School graduate, will continue her studies at Montana State University and study Business. In the application, her employer, Chuck Barthuly with Greater Billings wrote, “Jordan has shown great integrity in all areas of her work service and is the type of young woman that gives me hope for the future of our country.”

The BFCU Selection Committee credited Thronson for her accomplishments while a student at Skyview, including Business Professionals of America, National Honors Society, Foreign Language Club, Falconeers and Arts Without Boundaries.

Yellowtail, is continuing her education at Montana State University – Billings, and is studying Business. Sheena is a wife and mom of four. In the application, Beatrice Black Eagle wrote, “Sheena is a great influence on others, she is a great role model and many people look up to her.”

The Midland Empire Chapter of Credit Unions also named Karra Peterson as one of their scholarship winners. Peterson is currently attending Montana State University – Billings and majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She intends to go on to medical school upon graduation from MSU-B.
