*eStatements required, $5.00 per month for paper statements. **Three free per month; $1 thereafter. ***Subject to approval. Courtesy Pay may provide certain account holders age 18 and above the ability to overdraw their checking account up to $500 if the account has been opened at least 60 days and the account is maintained in good standing. An account in good standing is defined as: regular deposits are sufficient to cover transactions, the account is brought to a positive balance at least once every 30 days and there are no legal orders outstanding on the account. BFCU may, at our sole discretion, pay overdrafts up to the limit. As of November 1, 2017, this fee is $32 per item. If an account remains overdrawn for 30 consecutive days, the account may be sent to collections. Remember, it is not a loan and it costs nothing unless the service is accessed by initiating a check, draft item, ATM card withdrawal, debit card withdrawal, debit card point of purchase, preauthorized automatic debit, telephone-initiated withdrawal, electronic funds transfers or any other withdrawal request that would overdraw the account when presented. You may opt-out of Courtesy Pay at any time by notifying BFCU.
